Aiba Minako Solo Exhibition “Cocktail”

We will be holding a solo exhibition by glass artist Minako Aiba.
Minako Aiba creates works that distance themselves slightly from the hard beauty of glass's transparency, incorporating playful elements primarily in black and white.
Colors blend in the fluid motion of blown glass, forming organic, marble-like swirls.
Shapes that are not born from calculation alone, but include chance and breath. The charm of glass is free and liberating, unlike static and tense expressions.
This exhibition will also feature new works with layered colors, created specifically for this show.
As the title "Cocktail" suggests, it promises to be an exhibition where colors, air, and light mingle, leaving a light afterglow.

2016 Graduated from Nagoya University of Arts, Craft Design Department
2017 Worked at a studio in Kanto region
2021 Completed training at New Century Museum of Art and Crafts
