These are works by Miki Furuhata, who creates pottery in Nagano Prefecture.
Furuhata-san draws inspiration from natural landscapes, expressing a rich spectrum of colors through layered glazes.
Her pottery, with its matte texture and soft forms, harmoniously blends into daily life.
For this occasion, Furuhata-san created many cool-looking vessels to match the title of the exhibition, "Aoizuki," which begins at the start of summer.
While a wide range of works, from classic pieces to new creations, are available, the complex glaze patterns ensure that each piece has a unique expression.
The forms are simple, beautiful, and easy to use.
We highly recommend incorporating Furuhata-san's works, which evoke the seasons and landscapes, into your life.
