Introducing works by glass artist Chihiro Izumisawa.
Ms. Izumisawa has a studio in Fujimi Town, Nagano Prefecture, where she creates her pieces.

Her works are made using the "pâte de verre" technique, which involves filling molds with glass powder and fragments and then firing them.
Ms. Izumisawa creates vessels and objects with her unique sensibility, while extracting the inherent beauty of the material itself.

For this exhibition, which marks the beginning of summer, she has prepared a collection of refreshing works.
Ms. Izumisawa's works possess a mysterious charm that evokes stories.
