Based in Mure, Kagawa Prefecture, Kitagawa continues to create pieces that utilize the individuality and texture of wood, using a wood lathe, under the theme of "living in harmony with nature."

The works, which bring out the inherent beauty of the wood grain, convey that each piece is carefully crafted with a deep appreciation for the wood.
Many iron-stained pieces are also created, and the wood grain within the dark colors is also beautiful.
