Murai creates his works using pure white Seto porcelain clay.
His skill and artistic sense in meticulously creating sharp forms are magnificent, and the care he puts into his work is evident in each piece.

His lineup of works includes "Titanium Glaze," which allows one to enjoy various blue and white hues from his unique glaze blend, "Jikesho (Porcelain Slip)," which features the beautiful pure white of porcelain clay used as a slip, and "Jikesho Dosai (Porcelain Slip with Copper Painting)," where patterns are drawn on the Jikesho using a copper glaze.

Many of his vessels have simple shapes, and even those of similar size are made with variations in design and depth.
Works other than those with silver painting can be used in microwaves and dishwashers.
These works are carefully crafted to blend seamlessly into everyday life.
