Oowada Yuka Coaster Black

This is a work by ceramist Yuka Owada.

Owada's vessels are characterized by soft curves and delicate glazes.
They gently change their expression in the light of everyday life, and their presence is even more deeply felt when touched.

In addition to a series featuring smooth semi-porcelain designs primarily in black and white, she has recently created an elegant series of colors named "Gekka" (Moonlight), which evokes the color of moonlight, and "Usuzakura" (Pale Cherry Blossom), which is a greenish-gray with a hint of pink.

Her works, with their delicate and beautiful forms and glazes that express subtle color variations, are like stories that invite viewers into the world created by Ms. Owada.
