These works are by Nagisa Shirai, created in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture.
Made from porcelain clay, the vessels feature beautiful, gently flowing curves.
The striking black and white colors are created using a technique adapted from "suminagashi" (marbling), and their beautiful shades evoke ink wash paintings.
These pieces allow you to immerse yourself in a graceful world woven from black and white.
Some pieces also incorporate gold or platinum accents, and their titles further contribute to a dignified impression.
Enjoy these vessels, unique to Shirai-san, who also creates art pieces.
