These are works by Nagisa Shirai, produced in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture.
The vessels, made from porcelain clay, have beautiful shapes with gentle flowing lines.
The striking black and white colors are created using an adapted "suminagashi" (marbling) technique, and their beautiful shades are reminiscent of ink wash paintings.
These works allow you to immerse yourself in a graceful world woven from black and white.
Some pieces also feature gold or platinum accents, and the titles of the works themselves give a dignified impression.
Enjoy these unique vessels by Shirai, who also creates art pieces.
