Takeshi Yoshida creates pottery in Mashiko Town, Haga County, Tochigi Prefecture, a town famous for its pottery.
Yoshida mainly creates series such as "Bronze," which has a texture like unearthed artifacts, and "Hakudeisai" (white mud glaze), which resembles the walls of ruins.
In recent years, he has also added series with very intricate sculptural elements.
Many of his works clearly show his dedication to color and texture, and their unique appearance, reminiscent of unearthed artifacts, is distinctive.
This time, we also have original pottery pieces such as masks and candle holders.
On the other hand, many of his vessels are lightweight, making them perfect for everyday use.
