Takeshi Yoshida is a potter based in Mashiko Town, Haga County, Tochigi Prefecture, an area famous for its pottery.

Mr. Yoshida primarily creates works in two series: "Bronze," which has the texture of excavated artifacts, and "Hakudeisai" (White Mud Glaze), which resembles ancient temple walls.
In recent years, he has also expanded his repertoire to include rare "Akasai" (Red Glaze) pieces and a series with highly elaborate sculptural elements.

Many of his works exhibit a strong dedication to color and texture, with a unique, individual character that evokes ancient artifacts.
This time, he also presents creative ceramic pieces such as masks and candlesticks.

Despite their artistic qualities, many of his vessels are lightweight, making them perfect for everyday use.

*Due to being handmade, there may be individual differences in size, color, pattern, and weight.
Also, you may find crack-like marks on the back of the vessel or inside the footring,
but these are superficial kiln cracks from the firing process and do not affect usability.
Please be aware of this in advance.
