Yoshida Take Bronzed Rim Plate

Takeshi Yoshida, a ceramic artist, creates his works in Mashiko Town, Haga District, Tochigi Prefecture, a town famous for its pottery.

Mr. Yoshida mainly produces "Bronze" series with a texture like excavated artifacts, and "Hakudeisai" series resembling ancient ruin walls.
In recent years, he has also added rare "Akasai" works and series with highly intricate, sculptural elements.

Many of his works clearly show his dedication to color and texture, and their unique appearance, reminiscent of excavated artifacts, is distinctive.
This time, we also have original ceramic works such as masks and candle holders.

Meanwhile, many of his vessels are lightweight, making them perfect for everyday use.

Also, there may be crack-like marks on the back of the vessel or inside the foot, but
these are superficial kiln cracks from firing and do not affect use.
