Takeshi Yoshida, a potter who creates his works in Mashiko Town, Haga District, Tochigi Prefecture, a town famous for its pottery.

Mr. Yoshida mainly creates two series: "Bronze," which has the texture of unearthed artifacts, and "Hakudeisai" (white mud glaze), which resembles ancient ruin walls.
In recent years, he has also been creating rare "Akasai" (red glaze) works and a growing number of highly intricate, sculptural series.

Many of his works show a strong commitment to color and texture, and their unique appearance, like unearthed artifacts, is distinctive.
This time, there are also creative ceramic works such as masks and candlesticks.

On the other hand, many of his vessels are lightweight, making them perfect for everyday use.

■Size: Diameter 9.5cm, Height 23cm

*Due to being handmade, there are individual differences in size, color, pattern, and weight.
Also, there may be crack-like marks on the back of the vessel or inside the footring,
but these are superficial kiln cracks from firing and do not affect usability.
Please be aware of this in advance.
