YOSHIDA Joe Bronze Single-flower Vase

Takeshi Yoshida creates pottery in Mashiko Town, Haga County, Tochigi Prefecture, a town famous for its pottery.

Mr. Yoshida mainly creates works in the "Bronze" series, which has a texture like unearthed artifacts, and the "Hakudeisai" (White Clay Glaze) series, which resembles ancient ruin walls.
In recent years, he has also been producing more rare "Akasai" (Red Glaze) works and highly elaborate, sculptural series.

Many of his works show a strong commitment to color and texture, and their unique appearance, like unearthed artifacts, is distinctive.
This time, he also has original ceramic works such as masks and candlesticks.

On the other hand, many of his vessels are lightweight, making them perfect for everyday use.

*Since each item is handmade, there may be individual differences in size, color, pattern, and weight.
Also, there may be crack-like marks on the back of the vessel or the inside of the footring,
but these are superficial kiln cracks from the firing process and do not affect usability.
