Yohei Goto 6.5 sun Ishime Plate - Green

These are works by Yohei Goto, who has a studio in Chiba Prefecture.
He creates glass art using kiln-forming and pâte de verre techniques.

These techniques involve creating a mold from an original form, filling it with glass paste, firing it, and then polishing the surface, making them very labor-intensive methods.
However, these techniques produce jewel-like charm, including fine bubbles, delicate color gradations, and translucent finishes that are unique to these methods.

Goto-san, who also works with stained glass, creates pieces using a variety of other techniques and glass types.
For this occasion, he has provided a collection with cool, summery colors.
