These pieces are by Keicondo, a potter working in Kasama.
Color has always been a significant element in discussing Kei's tableware.
His signature "yellow," the quietly impactful "white," and the "green" he has been exploring in recent years.
Each color resonates with the others, creating a lineup where their individual charms are highlighted through their combinations.
And this time, "red" has been added as a new color.
This "red" utilizes the natural color of the clay from Kei's hometown of Kasama.
The natural color of the clay gently emerges through firing, revealing an expression that combines both calmness and strength.
Adding color deepens one's understanding of the material.
We hope you can appreciate the "terroir" of Keicondo's tableware, which emerges through each color.
