This is a piece by Keicondo, who creates pottery in Kasama.
Color has always been a significant element when talking about Kei's pottery.
His signature "yellow," the quietly impactful "white," and the "green" he has been working with in recent years.
These colors interact and, when combined, create a lineup where each color's charm stands out.
And this time, "red" has been added as a new color.
The "red" color utilizes the natural color of the soil from Kasama, Kei's hometown.
The natural color of the soil gently emerges through firing, showing an expression that combines calmness and strength.
Adding color deepens the understanding of the material.
We hope you can feel the "soil character" of Keicondo's pottery that emerges through each color.
