This is a work by Keicondo, a potter from Kasama.
Color has always been a significant element when discussing Kei's ceramics.
His signature "yellow," the quietly impactful "white," and the "green" he has been developing in recent years—each of these colors resonates with the others, and when combined, their individual charms stand out.
And this time, "red" has been added as a new color.
This "red" utilizes the natural color of the soil itself from Kei's hometown of Kasama.
The natural color of the clay gently emerges through firing, revealing an expression that combines calmness and strength.
Adding color is about deepening one's understanding of the material.
We hope you can experience the "earthiness" of Keicondo's ceramics that emerges through each color.
