These are works by Keicondo, a ceramic artist based in Kasama.
Color has always been a significant element when talking about Kei's vessels.
His signature "yellow," the quietly impactful "white," and the "green" he has been working with in recent years.
They interact with each other, creating a lineup where each color's appeal is highlighted through their combinations.
And this time, "red" has been added as a new color.
This "red" utilizes the natural color of the soil from Kei's hometown of Kasama.
The natural hues of the soil gently emerge through firing, revealing an expression that combines calmness and strength.
Adding color deepens the understanding of the material.
We hope you can feel the "earthy texture" of Keicondo's vessels that emerge through each color.
