This is a work by Shutaro Miwa, a metalworker based in Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture.
He creates silverware cutlery, meticulously handcrafted, and plates made from metals such as copper, brass, and aluminum. Each piece is hand-hammered, resulting in sophisticated and beautiful forms.
Aluminum trays and plates are very lightweight and have a serene presence. Copper pieces offer a richer texture and metallic charm, while brass pieces have a beautiful luster, each with its own unique character.
The silver cutlery is designed with the user in mind, considering balance and size, and is given detailed classification names. We highly recommend incorporating Miwa-san's diverse metalworks into your daily life.
