Mr. Ohara creates his works at a studio called "craft-k" in Shigaraki. He utilizes the rough texture characteristic of Shigaraki clay and employs his own blend of glazes, creating distinctive vessels using techniques such as kohiki (powdering), hakeme (brush-stroke patterns), and shinogi (carving).
