Yuka Owada - Gote Kyusu Shiro

These are works by ceramic artist Yuka Owada.

Owada's vessels are characterized by their soft curves and delicate glazes.
They gently change expression in everyday light, and their presence is even more felt when touched.

In addition to the series featuring black and white designs on smooth semi-porcelain, she has recently created a series of elegant colors named "Gekka" (Under the Moonlight), which has a moonlit hue, and "Usuzakura" (Pale Cherry Blossom), which is green-grey with a hint of pink.

Her works, with their delicate and beautiful forms and glazes that express subtle colors, are like stories that invite viewers into the world created by Owada.
