Yukari Obuchi Rimmed Platter No. 2

Yukari Obuchi, who creates pottery in Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture, uses a variety of colorful glazes to produce works with beautiful color tones.

The color combinations change each time, and organic changes from firing, such as how the glaze melts and flows, are also added.
This creates unique pieces, no two of which are alike.
There are numerous types of gradient glazes, and in recent years, she has also created plates with colorful glazes that resemble Impressionist paintings.

Another charm of Obuchi's ceramics is that they are very light and suitable for everyday use.
