These are works by Toshifumi Tashiro, a ceramic artist based in Mashiko, a town known for its pottery.

Tashiro's works are characterized by their sharp forms, dignified presence, and calm, primarily monochromatic color palette.
His works include "haiyu" (ash glaze) and "kuro-haiyu" (black ash glaze) made with oak ash, metal-based "manganese" and "madara-yakyu" (mottled glaze), and his new "oniita" (red iron oxide glaze).

Although each piece has a different finish, all of them reflect Tashiro's unique aesthetic sense.
