Kohei Wada produces glassworks in his studio in Hiratsuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture.
He primarily uses the blown glass technique, applying his unique skills to create designs that possess elegant ornamentation while simultaneously feeling modern and refined, with stripped-down elements.
Many of his glassworks have shapes that are "uncommon yet seem plausible," and the surprise when you pick them up is delightful.
The color of the glass itself is beautiful, and many of his pieces have elongated, vertical forms, making them ideal not only for glasses but also for vases and bottles.
They are light yet have an exquisite thinness that isn't too delicate, making them suitable for everyday use.
This time, in addition to clear colors, he has also created pieces in an original studio color called "Studio Gray."
This series features a beautiful light gray color and is also highly recommended.
