Introducing the works of ceramic artist Washiko Washizawa.
Washizawa's vessels are characterized by a unique worldview created by the accidental expressions that emerge during the firing process and the individuality of the materials.
They are finished with a matte gray glaze with fine black specks, which, combined with the earthy texture of the surface, creates a depth reminiscent of stone walls or mountain slopes.
The faint bluish tint that floats in the pooled glaze evokes a quiet depth, bringing an almost fantastical atmosphere.
While their presence may seem understated at first glance, they immediately stand out as a backdrop the moment food is placed on them.
These are vessels that bring the power of nature and a calm tranquility to your dining table.
